
Beginning with his work as an insurance defense attorney with Halloran & Sage, Tom has extensive experience in litigating product liability claims. Once again, there is no substitute for having worked on the defense side of these claims. Before Tom began to dedicate his practice to representing plaintiffs. Tom’s extensive experience in handling product liability cases led to his being asked to write the Chapter on the subject in the two-volume Practice Manual published by Butterworth Legal Publishers – CONNECTICUT ACTIONS AND REMEDIES.

In representing plaintiffs in product liability cases, Tom has achieved numerous six and seven figure recoveries for his clients, including cases against vehicle manufacturers, vehicle parts manufacturers, lawnmower manufacturers, medical device manufacturers and swimming pool manufacturers, among others.
On multiple occasions, Tom’s success was the first of its kind for product at issue, paving the way other similar claims. Tom’s education is physics has proven to be invaluable in terms of his ability to understand the science and engineering principles at the core of many of these cases, which in turn enables him to effectively cross-examine the experts employed by manufacturers to defend their products.
