That said, we will only accept a case for appeal after a comprehensive analysis of the underlying case and court history to date.
When someone loses at trial it’s natural to feel that the case should have gone differently, after all, no one likes to be told they were wrong at the end of a long and arduous trial – and the long and arduous time spent preparing for that trial.
But . . . the basis for appeal – certainly an appeal with a chance of reversal – are narrow, complex, and technical. They are almost never apparent to the casual legal practitioner.
